Understanding the Obstacles

While Indian Motorcycle was part of Polaris, the organization needed to modernize and streamline its physical marketing efforts across multiple brands, including Indian Motorcycle and Slingshot. They sought engaging and impactful creative materials to drive customer conversions while also needing support for various branded marketing efforts across their portfolio, including promotional products and loyalty programs.

Continuum partnered closely with the Polaris and Indian Motorcycle teams to take ownership of physical marketing execution—from vendor strategy through production and fulfillment. 

For Indian Motorcycle’s direct mail programs, Continuum evaluated a curated network of direct mail providers to identify the best partners for print and fulfillment. We developed high-impact formats to optimize Polaris' direct mail strategy, achieving measurable results and significant cost savings.  

Beyond direct mail, we expanded our role to support Indian Motorcycle’s event marketing ecosystem - sourcing and delivering branded promotional products for major events such as Daytona Bike Week and Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. For their 1901 Club and Ambassador programs, over 12,500 custom brand boxes were produced and distributed to dealerships.  

For Polaris Adventures, we sourced banners and signage to promote rental options at U.S. outfitters, ensuring brand consistency and effective marketing execution. We also supported Polaris' omnichannel marketing efforts by sourcing and delivering over 30,000 sticker packs for an email campaign, contributing to significant customer engagement.

Over the course of our five-year partnership, Continuum helped Polaris achieve over $1 million in cost-savings across various physical marketing initiatives, with a significant portion of that impact driven by Indian Motorcycle programs while the brand was under the Polaris umbrella.
